Ascend the Overseer is a sixteen page zine detailing an adventure location consisting of a vertical mini-hexcrawl, a mysterious interactive adventure site and a final vault in a colossal head.
An eternal sandstorm dissipates, revealing a great mountain cut and carved into the figure of a man with a third eye, seated upon a throne. The scale of the effigy defies the senses; the means to shape urth at such a magnitude is incomprehensible. Untouched for eons, relic seekers are sure to arrive shortly to find what lies within.

I ran this adventure using Troika! and the Acid Death Fantasy setting. The hook was a sultan hired the party to investigate the site of ancient power and bring back any anything that could give him the upper hand over the other sultans. Not sure if I should add a whole play report here or not (let me know). I embellished some of the NPC's but, otherwise ran it just as written and we had fun with it, fitting it into a 4 hour convention style time slot.
